The rap duo, Afro Classic, consists of Scarub (Living Legends) and Very (Us Pros). The two of them have been working together since 1999. Back in 2001 the duo released their first self-entitled album, “Afro Classics”. Now they’ve returned to release a new project, “The Classic EP”. This six song EP covers a wide range of topics—from love and relationships to life and dedication. This funky west coast beat driven EP is just a taste of what’s to come. Afro Classics is going to be releasing another album in June of 2009 titled, “Classic Rock”. “The Classic EP” has officially hit the streets! Read On!

CBGB:Decades of Graffiti

The legendary New York City music venue, CBGB ( Country BlueGrass Blues), was world renown from it’s part in NYC’s “punk” scene. In fact, some people would like to think that it was the birthplace of punk and even though many would like to dispute that nobody can take away the rich legacy that was left behind. The venue wasn’t much more than a tiny bar, a stage , and what seemed to be two bathrooms. CBGB first opened it’s doors in the borough of Manhatten in 1973. It was here that bands such as the Ramones, Misfits, The Fleshtones, and Talking Heads were introduced to the world. Read On!

DEVO - NEW ALBUM COMING!!



In May, DEVO will head to the United Kingdom for a series of dates. On Wednesday, May 6, DEVO will perform their debut album, the seminal Q: Are We Not Men, We Are Devo! in its entirety from beginning to end at London's Kentish Town Forum. Released in 1978, the seminal album produced by Brian Eno and recorded in Germany features such notable tracks such as the band's cover of The Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," "Mongoloid" and "Jocko Homo."
