SCION A/V REWORKS GRAND PUBA FOR JULY

Scion music imprint features "Get It" re-imaginings by four of dubstep's finest Scion again taps talented artists and producers to create exclusive remixes for Scion A/V, the automaker's private record label. This July, Scion A/V enlists four of the dubstep scene's up-and-coming DJs and producers to transform hip-hop emcee Grand Puba's track "Get It" into unforgettable club bangers for "Scion A/V Remix: Get It."

A founding member of the pioneering group Brand Nubian, Grand Puba's previously unreleased track "Get It" will be cut up by Caspa, Toddla T, Reso and 12th Planet on "Scion A/V Remix: Grand Puba." South Yorkshire's new bad boy Toddla T and dubstep authority Caspa infuse their booty-shaking beats into the track. The UK's young Reso delivers his own twisted take with rich musical texture and color, while Scion House Party headliner and LA-native 12th Planet delivers West Coast dub rhythms.

Beginning July 21, 2009, "Scion A/V Remix: Grand Puba" will be available for purchase at all major online retailers and distributed at special Scion-sponsored events.

In its continual effort to show support for artists in the music industry, Scion covers all production, licensing and distribution costs for the A/V projects, and all proceeds go directly back to the artists.
