Chemical Warfare

Legendary producer, Alchemist, just released his latest project, Chemical Warfare. The album features Eminem, Blu, Talib Kweli, Snoop Dogg, and Kool G Rap among others. This project is sick and if you haven’t heard it yet but you know a little background on the name you can only imagine.

For those who don’t know, this man has been real from the beginning. He’s always had a ear for that real hip-hop shit. In the early days he was one half of a duo, The Whooliganz, which was Al and Scott Caan. Soon after he was invited to join the collective, The Soul Assassins. Over the years Al has had his fingers deep in the game, affiliated and involved with countless projects including his own solo material and production for the likes of Nas, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Ghostface Killah and Snoop Dogg.

My advice is to go out and take a listen to this new album, buy it, and then make sure to dig into some of the past and school yourself on what has lead up to this point. You won’t regret it.
