"Train Trussle"

U-God’s new album Dopium got a little taste of everything. Its got that rugged and raw wu-tang sound there no questions. Banging beats and stylistic wordplay with a strong cast of artist features including The GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Jim Jones, Large Proessor, Killah Priest, and Cappadonna among others.

The album is good overall. Its hard to compare each Wu-Tang members solo project to my personal memories of the Clan’s early projects. But honestly Dopium was some what refreshing. U-God touches a variety of topics from the current condition of the hip-hop industry and its relationship to the community to the same grind that has been in blood since the beginning.
