Blair French, also known as DIAL81, is a Detroit-based producer and emcee with a soulful taste for jazz, funk, and classic hip-hip. Since he was kind enough to let us listen to his latest project…and since its pretty fresh…we thought we would let you check out a little something.
His latest project, Boxcar Portal, is a 18-track full album featuring guest appearances by Count Bass D and Kadence among several others. As well as additional production by Jason Hogans, Cosmic Handshakes, Caucasian Cookie, Fahrenheit, N. Justice, and Tenshin. The album is full of funky unorthodox production, rich and conscious lyrics, and a little something extra.
